Il romanzo pur avendo come protagonista un uomo che salva una ragazzina ebrea dai lager nazisti fingendo di esserne il padre non deve assolutamente  essere interpretato come un sostegno alla politica dello stato di Israele che è cosa ben diversa dagli Ebrei e dalla loro storia.

Although the novel's protagonist is a man who saves a Jewish girl from the Nazi concentration camps by finding out that he is her father, it  should not be interpreted as support for the policies of the state of Israel, which is very different from the Jews and their  history.

It Happened in a Charming Little Italian Town by Carlo Artemi is a fascinating historical novel based on true events. While we all know of the horrors perpetrated against the Jews and others in Nazi Germany, not all realize that many of these same indignities were visited upon Jews elsewhere in Europe, especially in Axis countries such as Italy. Strict anti-Jewish legislation, similar to that of Germany, was also applied in Italy by Mussolini. Among other barbarities, Jewish children were not allowed to attend school. In the beautiful little village of San Michele, in Teverina, these sanctions threatened a thirteen-year-old orphan Jewess named Rebecca. Carlo, a small-town physics teacher, a non-Jew, who knew and respected Rebecca’s parents hatches a plan to adopt Rebecca and pretend she is his long-lost daughter from a one-night-stand, thus protecting her from the draconian laws being implemented all across Italy. This is the beginning of a story that will span eight decades and two continents as Rebecca and Carlo navigate a scheme to trick the authorities and protect their freedom.

It Happened in a Charming Little Italian Town is a powerful story of love, determination, and longevity that Rebecca relates as she looks back over her long and productive life. Author Carlo Artemi has beautifully brought to life the loveliness and simplicity of the little village of San Michele and its people, as well as the destruction of the fabric of society by the rise of fascism and Mussolini in pre-war Italy. What I particularly appreciated was the immense risks and dangers Carlo’s actions exposed him to and yet, this humble, self-effacing man was determined to ensure that Rebecca was able to excel and achieve everything in life. The novel's overarching theme is that family is not just blood but is a collection of people who love and protect you, regardless of the circumstances thrown against them. The emotional pain that the people of San Michele experienced both before and during the war was wonderfully espoused in this work, as was the often casual heroism of the ordinary folk of the village. This is a story about family, love, and dedication that reminds us all of the bonds that tie us together. Not just the familial bonds but also the societal ones and that is why this story will remain in my mind for some time after having finished it. This wonderful story was a privilege to read and I can highly recommend it.

youtube uno chiamato " Voce delle frazioni " dedicato alla divulgazione sceintifica e l altro " pillole di misteri italiani "
dedicato alla divulgazione storica dei misteri d'Italia. Non avendo però le attrezzature dello youtuber professionista e non trovando
riscontro di pubblico ho deciso di mettere commenti
ai video altrui sempre nell ambito di ciò per cui ho una diretta competenza o di ciò a cui posso arrviare con l'intelligenza

I have never been indifferent to matters concerning civic life, even though I have never held political or administrative office. Beyond what I have described elsewhere on this site, I have:

 
 raised awareness through various channels—ranging from letters of protest (of varying intensity) sent to newspapers and public or private bodies, to direct reports to the relevant authorities regarding specific issues or needs of the community. I have always sought to avoid generic complaints, preferring instead to make precise, detailed observations and—where possible—propose solutions to the problems or inconveniences identified. Many of these reports led to further action.

 
 been a member of associations such as the *Associazione Mutilati e Invalidi Civili* (Association for the Disabled and Civil Invalids), the *Associazione Precari o ex Precari della Ricerca Italiana* (APRI – Association of Precarious and Former Precarious Italian Researchers), and the *Unione Ciechi e Ipovedenti* (Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired). I have actively participated in these groups, including attending an APRI hearing before the Senate Education Committee.

 
 submitted a proposal via certified email (PEC) to the Mayor of Civitella d'Agliano (Viterbo)—my family's hometown—to transform a hamlet within the municipality into an open-air museum trail. This matter remains unresolved.

 
 filed a formal complaint with the competent judicial authorities regarding a potential abuse of office by a mayor concerning the cancellation of a local bus route. The case was dismissed, though the reasoning provided left me with serious doubts.

 
 started creating commentary content on YouTube. Initially, I planned to launch two channels: one named "Voce delle frazioni" (Voice of the Hamlets), dedicated to science communication, and another named "Pillole di misteri italiani" (Italian Mystery Nuggets), dedicated to the history of Italian mysteries. However, lacking professional YouTube equipment and failing to gain an audience, I decided instead to post comments on other people's videos—focusing on topics where I have direct expertise or can offer insights through logical reasoning.

Ho sempre avuto un'attenzione per il mangiar bene privilegiando sempre la qualità sulla quantità e preferendo sempre una cucina " casareccia " alle complicazioni costosissime degli chef .
